Sealy has a population of a little over 6,000 and is located 30 minutes west of Houston on Interstate 10.  Sealy retains the small-town charm of yesteryear and experiences a low crime rate, but is close enough to the larger cities to make commuting to work or traveling to museums, theatres and shopping a short trip.

The house is located three blocks from State Hwy 36 that runs north/south through Sealy and approximately 10 blocks from I-10.

The Ward House is within walking distance of several churches and the neighborhood park known as the Levine Park.  The Levine Park is home to several annual events, including the Fantasy of Lights
